Delivered through egg’s Energy Partnership Agreement
Clean technology works harder when individual projects form part of a wider energy plan.
At CTDI’s Glenrothes site, egg has delivered ground-mounted solar and EV charging, bringing two clean energy technologies together at one location.
The project was delivered through egg’s Energy Partnership Agreement (EPA) approach, providing a joined-up route from identifying the opportunity through to clean technology delivery.
Both projects were installed through egg’s Managed service model; capex free, fixed monthly fee and monthly savings from day one.
The solar installation is rated at 500 kW+ and is expected to generate 417,252 kWh per annum, creating clean power on-site.
Alongside it, egg delivered eight 22 kW EV chargers, supporting charging for staff and visitor vehicles. The EVC installation service also included the associated labour, safety blocks, barriers and signage, providing an end-to-end installation rather than simply supplying the charging hardware.

The Glenrothes project demonstrates what a joined-up energy approach can look like in practice: understand the site, identify the right technologies and provide a clear route to implementation.
