Organisers Forum Events have announced the launch of a second annual Energy Management Summit, taking place on 10-11 May 2027 at The Manchester Deansgate Hotel, following the continued success of the event at the Radisson Hotel & Conference Centre London Heathrow.
The expansion will provide even more opportunities for energy professionals and solution providers to connect, collaborate and do business in a highly focused environment.
The established London edition will continue to take place on 21-22 September 2026 at the Radisson Hotel & Conference Centre London Heathrow, while the new Manchester event has been introduced in response to growing demand from both buyers and suppliers for additional opportunities to engage throughout the year.
For more than a decade, the Energy Management Summit has provided a unique platform for connecting senior decision-makers responsible for energy, sustainability, facilities, procurement and environmental management with the suppliers offering the latest technologies, services and solutions. The event has built a strong reputation for facilitating meaningful business conversations through a programme of pre-arranged one-to-one meetings, educational seminars and networking opportunities.
The Summit has been running for 11 years and facilitates more than 1,280 business meetings at each event.
Unlike traditional exhibitions, the Summit is designed around a personalised matching process. Buyers provide information about their forthcoming projects, current challenges, budgets and procurement requirements, enabling organisers to create bespoke schedules that connect them with relevant suppliers and seminar sessions. This approach ensures that every meeting is based on genuine business interest and has the potential to deliver measurable value.
The event attracts senior professionals from across the energy landscape, including Heads of Energy, Sustainability Directors, Facilities Managers, Procurement Professionals, Property Managers and Environmental Leaders. Attendees gain direct access to innovative suppliers while staying informed about evolving industry trends, technologies and best practices.
For suppliers, the Manchester launch offers direct access to an audience of pre-qualified buyers who are actively reviewing solutions and seeking new business partnerships. Through a schedule of 25-minute pre-arranged meetings, suppliers can engage with decision-makers responsible for significant energy-related investments and projects, delivering a far greater return on time and resources than traditional exhibition formats.
Alongside these business meetings, attendees will benefit from a programme of expert-led seminar sessions covering the key issues shaping the sector. Discussions are expected to focus on areas including energy efficiency, carbon management, renewable technologies, energy storage, sustainability strategies, monitoring systems and data management, providing delegates with practical insights they can take back to their organisations.
Networking remains a cornerstone of the Summit experience, with attendees able to build valuable relationships during refreshment breaks, networking lunches, evening drinks receptions and hosted dinners. These informal conversations often lead to new partnerships, collaborations and business opportunities long after the event concludes.
As organisations continue to navigate rising energy costs, evolving regulations and ambitious sustainability targets, the launch of the Manchester edition demonstrates the growing importance of effective energy management across all sectors. Building on the proven success of the London event, the new May 2027 Summit promises to deliver the same high-quality business connections, industry insight and commercial opportunities that have made it a staple of the energy management calendar.
